What with all this shit being slung about over football at the moment, whilst on the cross trainer at my local gym I was watching a Super 14 match between the Sharks and the Rebels... it was refreshing to see a good old violent têt-a-têt involving two opposing forwards consisting of a slap to the back of the head which was replied with a solid right hook to the face followed by a series of blows that would have felled a Kaiju...
The ref was swift in issuing justice - a yellow card for the instigator and a red for the wannabe boxer. This is the thing I enjoy about Springbok Rugby, they're all hard as nails, don't take any shit, play great Rugby and there's always the potential for a row, great stuff!
Certainly better than having to watch those tossers doing their love-in over Sepp Blatherer.
