RIP Terry Wogan

It's a sad day to hear that Sir Terry Wogan has died, Blankety Blank and his chat show 'Wogan' were a staple diet of entertainment when I was growing up and his narrations over Eurovision were pure class.

He also made my daily commute to work enjoyable, his breakfast show was an oasis surrounded by bolshy Radio 1 DJs and simpering characterless commercial radio DJs. His silky Irish brogue was so damned calming to listen to!

Ireland has lost a national treasure and the UK has lost an adopted one.
